Abstract
The Regulation prescribes the requirements for the circulation of animals between Latvia and the European Union Member States, as well as the import of animals from a country other than a European Union Member State, if the following do not apply thereto: the veterinary requirements for the circulation of bovine animals and swine; the veterinary requirements for the circulation and import of horses from third countries; the procedures for the circulation of poultry and hatching eggs; the veterinary requirements for the circulation of aquaculture animals; and the veterinary requirements for the circulation of sheep and goats.
