Cabinet Regulation No. 50 (Prot. No. 5 § 27) validating the procedure for administering and monitoring the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund and European Agricultural funds for rural development, as well as public and European Union support for agriculture and rural areas for development 2023-2027 during the annual planning period.

The system of unified and continuous assessment of the impact of state and European Union support to agriculture and rural development is maintained by the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Economics. The data necessary for the justification of support payments specified in the strategic plan:(a) in the socio-economic field is compiled by the limited liability company "Latvijas Lauku konsultasi i eduksi center"; (b) the limited liability company "Latvijas Lauku konsultasiu ud izjimenti centrs" ensures and confirms their correctness; (c) in the field of nature protection and biodiversity of grasslands is compiled by the Nature Protection Board, which performs the task under the authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and the collected data is submitted to the Ministry of Agriculture and the Rural Support Service; and (d) in the field of integrated plant protection and cultivation is compiled by the State Plant Protection Service and submitted them in the Ministry of Agriculture and the Rural Support Service. Every year by May 31, the Rural Support Service publishes information about the beneficiaries of the previous financial year. The information is available on the website of the European Union Funds (www.esfondi.lv) and the Rural Support Service (www.lad.gov.lv) two years after its publication. The managing authority establishes a collegial institution - a commission, which makes a decision on the supported activities and the allocation of funds for their implementation from the technical assistance funding of the strategic plan, as well as monitors the use of the allocated funding.
