Cabinet Regulation No. 556 of 2008 on Procedures for Granting, Administration and Supervision of the State and European Union Support for the Region Affected by Restructuring of the Sugar Industry

The Regulation prescribes the procedures for granting, administration and supervision of the State and European Union Support for the Regions affected by restructuring of the Sugar Industry. The objective of the Support is to promote and support the prevention of environmental problems and damage to the infrastructure objects in the region affected by restructuring, the emergence of which is directly related to the activities of the sugar industry or cessation of activities, thereby creating an attractive environment for such economic activities that would replace the sugar sector and, in general, rehabilitating the environment.
