Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the procedures for the establishment and management of micro-reserves, their conservation, as well as determination of micro-reserves and their buffer zones. If a micro-reserve is established in any of the specially protected nature territories, the norms governing the conservation and management of a specially protected nature territory shall be applicable in addition to this Regulation. The species of specially protected mammals, amphibians, reptiles, invertebrates, vascular plants, moss, algae, lichen, and fungus for the conservation of which micro-reserves may be established are specified in Annex 1 to this Regulation. The species of specially protected birds for the conservation of which micro-reserves may be established and the areas of micro-reserves provided for them are specified in Annex 2 to this Regulation. The species of specially protected fish for the conservation of which micro-reserves may be established at their spawning places are specified in Annex 3 to this Regulation. Biotopes for the conservation of which micro-reserves may be established are specified in the laws and regulations regarding the types of specially protected biotopes.
