Abstract
The local government, in connection with the supervision and control of the welfare of domestic (room) animals, is entitled to issue an administrative act, which stipulates the obligation to prevent violations in the field of animal welfare in an appropriate manner and within a deadline. The Cabinet of Ministers determines the welfare and protection of domestic (room) animals: (a) requirements regarding places for keeping domestic (room) animals, feeding, watering, physical activities and transportation; (b) requirements for keeping a dog outside the premises in the territory used by its owner or keeper; (c) requirements that must be met so that a dog, cat or house (room) ferret can stay away from its owner or territories used by the holder; (d) requirements regarding the display of domestic (room) animals at a public exhibition; (e) cases where the dog is allowed to be tied.
