Abstract
The retail company indicates the country in which the foodstuff was produced at the food outlet. The relevant country is indicated in writing or with an image of its flag. If the foodstuff is produced in the Russian Federation or the Republic of Belarus, it is indicated only in writing. The Cabinet of Ministers determines the criteria for identifying the country in which the foodstuff was produced, the requirements for the design of the indications (written information or image of the flag) mentioned in the first part of this section and their placement, as well as exceptions when the placement of indications is not mandatory. Failure to indicate the country in which the foodstuff was produced at the point of sale of food shall result in a warning or a fine of up to fifty fine units for a natural person, and up to two hundred fine units for a legal entity.
