Abstract
The scope of the National Industrial Policy (NIP) Guidelines is to transform the national industry into environmentally friendly and digitally innovative, which is a prerequisite for global competitiveness in order to keep high added value in supply chains.
The main directions of the NIP shall be as follows: (a) human capital (skills, retraining, intersectoral mobility); (b) innovations (new products, technologies, digitalization transformation); (c) business environment export capacity; (d) infrastructure; (e) financial availability (public/private) investments); (f) support of small and medium enterprises; (g) promotion of direct foreign investments; and (h) creation of a unified research data infrastructure with a view of developing interdisciplinary research.
