Cabinet Resolution No. 48 of 2013 to establish the apparatus for management and development of national parks.

This Resolution consisting of 12 articles aims at establishing the apparatus for management and development of national parks, under the responsibility of the Ministry of Tourism. Purpose of this body is to promote the establishment, develop and conserve the national parks, together with the facilities and leisure activities for tourism without damaging the environment. Provisions of this Resolution regard some parks in Tripoli, Bayda, Benghazi, and the Wildlife Project on Tripoli Airport Road. The main tasks of the Director shall be: prepare and implement plans and programs; organize and supervise the work progress; and manage administrative and financial affairs of the personnel. Its financial resources come from the State budget and from incomes for services rendered.
