Internal Regulation of the Joint Board for the study and development of the Nubian Sandstone Reservoir Waters.

This Regulation consists of 4 Chapters divided into 27 articles: Foundation, headquarters, purpose and membership (I); Board Management, competences and composition (II); Budget, accounts and financial resources (III); General provisions (IV).
Purposes of the Board shall be to: collect all information, data and results of studies made by relevant states, and classify and analyse the information, data and study results; prepare and execute complementary studies necessary for the determination of the features of this reservoir as to quantity and quality; develop programs and plans for the utilization of water, and propose a common policy for the development and utilization of water resources; adopt scientific basis for water management of this reservoir; study environmental aspects of underground reservoir development, desertification control, and new and regenerated energy applications; and organize symposiums in order to disseminate information on this reservoir (art. 3).
