Abstract
This Law, comprising 10 articles, regulates the propagation, production, and distribution of improved seeds at all stages and in various grades and names, following the controls and conditions specified by the Executive Regulations. All stages of seed multiplication undergo monitoring, field inspection, and laboratory analysis to ensure compliance with specifications. Article 5 mandates that seeds imported for propagation adhere to international and domestic agricultural quarantine laws. Approved varieties must be selected for propagation in different agricultural areas, with new varieties introduced at any stage subject to evaluation and approval as per the Executive Regulations. Additionally, approved seed varieties and types must be registered in a designated special register.
