Law No. 93 of 1973 establishing the General Company for Agricultural Projects.

This Law comprising 14 articles establishes the General Company for Agricultural Projects affiliated with the Minister of State for Agricultural Development Affairs. The purpose of the Company is to undertake land reclamation and reconstruction projects, perform agricultural activities, construct roads and agricultural housing, dig water wells, and other related tasks. The duration of the Company, managed by a Board of Directors, is twenty-five years starting from the effective date of this Law. A decision of the Council of Ministers may extend this period. The General Assembly, in its previous formation, shall possess the powers typically assigned to the General Assembly of Shareholders for joint stock companies. Decisions issued by it in this formation shall be considered effective and enforceable from the date of their issuance.
