Abstract
This Resolution, consisting of 4 articles, aims to prohibit the hunting, possession, trade, display for sale, killing, or capture by any means of wild animals and birds listed in agreements ratified by Libya. Article 2 further prohibits the breeding, captivity, or reproduction of these species, except when carried out by duly registered practitioners authorized by the Ministry of Environment. Article 3 establishes a definitive ban on the import, export, or re-export of any specimens of endangered animals and plants - including their parts or derivatives - listed under the CITES Convention, whether alive or dead, unless prior authorization has been obtained from the Ministry.
