Minister of Environment Resolution No. 293 of 2025 regarding the prohibition of importing used metal and plastic barrels and tanks and electronic devices.

This Resolution, comprising 4 articles, aims to protect the environment and safeguard public health, particularly that of workers in the sector, by prohibiting (i) the import of all types of used metal and plastic barrels and tanks, due to the potential presence of hazardous chemical or radioactive residues; and (ii) the import of used audiovisual electronic devices, owing to the toxic substances contained in their components. All public and private entities, as well as individuals, must obtain prior approval from the Ministry of Environment to import such used goods in exceptional cases.
