Resolution No. 433 of 1986 regarding controls on marketing agricultural products.

This Resolution, consisting of 17 articles, aims to regulate the display and marketing of various agricultural products. It specifies that the sale of agricultural products to consumers and other entities is restricted to (i) farmers, regarding their products; (ii) primary collection centers; and (iii) main collection centers designated by the relevant municipality and managed by the National Agricultural Marketing Company, following a participatory method under the supervision of the Committee established by Article 14 of this Resolution. The National Agricultural Marketing Company, through these main collection centers, is responsible for marketing agricultural products directly to consumers, public markets, consumer cooperative societies, and individual distributors. Farmers have the right to (i) supply their agricultural products to the primary collection centers for sale on their behalf; (ii) sell their products directly to consumers, provided the products are displayed either on their farms, at the primary collection centers, or the main collection centers during the basic agricultural conferences. Under Article 7, the Municipal People’s Committee, via the competent office, allocates distribution stores to individual distributors responsible for store maintenance and fee payments. At the same time, the National Agricultural Production Marketing Company sets a service margin for the distributors between 2% and 4%, based on the store's size and location. Article 14 provides for the committees, formed by decisions of the relevant municipal popular committees and coordinated with related authorities, and responsible for supervising and monitoring main collection centers, setting weekly agricultural product prices, and ensuring the implementation of this Resolution's provisions within their jurisdiction.
