Resolution No. 740 regulating the use of pesticides.

This Resolution is composed of 12 articles. The importation of pesticides and derivatives shall be prohibited unless a previous licence has been obtained by the Plant Protection Division under the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reform (art. 1). Whoever possesses pesticides shall provide all necessary information, regarding the quantity and quality of pesticides, to the Plant Protection Division within 30 days (art. 2). The classification of pesticides is the competence of the Division (art. 3). The Division shall also issue temporary permits for the use of pesticides (art. 4). Individuals authorized to use pesticides and derivatives shall keep a Register.
