Law on the approval of the sectoral agreement between the Government of Montenegro and the European Commission establishing the rules for the management and implementation of the financial support of the Union to Montenegro within the framework of the Instrument of pre-accession support for the policy area "Agriculture and Rural Development" (IPARD III).

This Law here approves the sectoral agreement between the Government of Montenegro and the European Commission establishing the rules for the management and implementation of the financial support of the Union to Montenegro within the framework of the Instrument of pre-accession support for the policy area "Agriculture and Rural Development" (IPARD III). The Sectoral Agreement shall be amended whenever the Commission considers it is appropriate for the best programming and financial implementation of the IPARD III programme for Montenegro. Technical and non-substantial changes can be proposed by the Commission following the “exchange of letters procedure” that will be completed with the agreement of Montenegro. For substantial amendments, in the opinion of the Commission, the “signing and conclusion procedure” will be followed. Montenegro shall take all necessary steps to ensure the proper execution of all assistance activities and to facilitate the implementation of IPARD.
