Law on general product safety.

This Law regulates general safety requirements, safety criteria that must be met by products that are delivered to the market, among deriving obligations of producers and distributors and he manner of informing and exchanging information about dangerous products and about risks that these products represent for consumers and other end users.
A product in terms if this Law is any non-food product that is made available to consumers as part of the activity and to other end-users, including the product within the provision of services, with or without compensation, which is new or has been used, repaired or remade. A safe product, in the sense of this Law, is considered any product that, under the foreseen or foreseeable conditions of use, including lifetime, commissioning, installation and maintenance requirements, does not represent a risk or represents a minimal risk, which is appropriate for the use of such product and which is considered acceptable in accordance with necessary high level of protection of the safety and health of consumers and other end users, taking into account especially: 1) product properties, including its composition, packaging, instructions for assembly, installation and maintenance, when is it applicable; 2) impact on other products, when it is possible to predict their joint use; 3) product labelling, warnings, instructions for use and other information about the product; 4) categories of consumers and other end users who are most exposed to risk due to the use of the product, especially children and the elderly; 5) the appearance of the non-food product, which in terms of shape, color, smell, packaging, label or size must not resembles a food product, in order to prevent the possibility that the end users, especially children, do not distinguish it from the food product and use it in a way that may pose a risk to their health and life.
