Abstract
This Montenegrin Law on the ratification of the International Treaty on plant genetic resources for food and agriculture here proclaims the adoption of obligations deriving from the above mentioned International Treaty on plant genetic resources for food and agriculture (concluded and signed on 3 November 2001 in Rome, Italy) and which has the purpose and objective to implement practices aimed at conservation and sustainable use of plant genetic resources for food and agriculture and the fair and equitable sharing of the benefits arising out of their use, in harmony with the Convention on Biological Diversity, for sustainable agriculture and food security.
