Order on the implementation of phytosanitary measures to prevent the spread of the harmful organism Citrus tristeza virus (CTV).

This Order, as for the purpose of prevention of spread of the harmful organism Citrus tristeza virus (CTV) on the territory of Montenegro, here sets specific necessary plant health protection measures.
This text indicates propper phytosanitary measures for plants (here defined and considered as host plants) such as Citrus L., Fortunella Swingle, Poncirus Raf. and their hybrids, other than fruits and seeds of the same. Holders or producers of fruits of such host plants are obliged, in their orchards, to implement phytosanitary measures, as follows: to perform health examinations of host plants in order to determine the distribution and prevalence of Citrus tristeza virus (CTV); to perform inspections for the presence of vectors (plant lice) on the leaves of host plants and place yellow adhesive plates to determine the presence and monitor the activity of the vector and their timely treatment; to perform appropriate chemical treatments of vectors. Producers of planting material are obliged to produce planting material of possible host plants, in spaces that have secured nets, with openings of appropriate dimensions, for complete isolation from insects-vectors; also several phytosanitary measures are provided for production of seedling materials of host plants (article 3).
