Planting material control testing program for 2024.

This Montenegrin Planting material control testing program for the year 2024 establishes control tests of planting material that is produced and put into circulation, in order to verify the certification methods in the process of planting material production. Control tests of planting material are made in order to verify the varietal identity, genetic purity, health status and fulfillment of other conditions regarding the quality of planting material. Control tests are carried out on submitted samples of planting material from production and circulation, and in accordance with the annual plan of official controls of the administrative body responsible for phytosanitary affairs. Control tests are carried out to verify the quality of planting material that is produced and put into circulation only on the territory of Montenegro. The planting material intended for sampling is selected based on a risk assessment, i.e. the degree of probability that a certain planting material does not meet the prescribed conditions based on the probability criteria in accordance with Table 1 of this text.
