Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the list of POPs substances (Persistent organic pollutants), the method and procedure for managing POPs waste and the limit values for POPs concentrations relating to the processing and disposal of waste containing or contaminated with the substances. The list of POPs substances and the limit values for POPs concentrations relating to the management of waste consisting of, containing or contaminated with the substances (POPs waste) is given in Annex 1. The same waste containing, consisting of or contaminated with POPs substances to which alternative waste disposal procedures may be applied is given in Annex 2.
