Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the Programme of monitoring over the pesticide residues in and on food of plant and animal origin for 2014, also by determining the priorities, food sampling issues. This Programme is conducted in order to assess the vulnerability of public health (food safety) in accordance with the prescribed levels of pesticide residues identified as dangerous.
This text transposes the rules contained in the Commission implementing Regulation (EU) No 788/2012 of 31 August 2012 concerning a coordinated multiannual control programme of the Union for 2013, 2014 and 2015 to ensure compliance with maximum residue levels of pesticides and to assess the consumer exposure to pesticide residues in and on food of plant and animal origin.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
