Abstract
This Regulation stipulates the necessary phytosanitary measures aimed to prevent the introduction, spread and to suppress the chestnut axis vitriol (Dryocosmus kuriphilus).
Host plants in terms of this Regulation are plants and parts of plants of the genus Castanea Mill. intended for planting, other than fruits and seeds.
This text transposes the rules contained in the Commission Decision 2006/464/EC of 27 June 2006 on measures to prevent the introduction and spread of harmful organism Dryocosmus kuriphilus and its spread in the Community.
