Regulation on phytosanitary measures during official controls of wood packaging material.

This Regulation here prescribes specific phytosanitary measures when performing official controls on wood packaging material or wood products intended for the support, protection or transport of goods (other than paper products) entering the territory of Montenegro. These measures shall not apply to wood packaging material for which exemptions are prescribed in the International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15 (ISPM15). Consignments containing wood packaging material shall be selected for physical inspection based on: 1) the monitoring plan referred to in article 4, paragraph 1 of this text; 2) the information referred to in article 4, paragraph 1, point 3; 3) other relevant information. Measures in case of non-compliance of wood packaging material are laid down in article 7.
This text transposes the measure contained in the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2125 supplementing Regulation (EU) 2017/625 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards rules concerning the performance of specific official controls of wood packaging material, notification of certain consignments and measures to be taken in cases of non-compliance.
