Abstract
This Regulation prescribes phytosanitary measures to prevent the introduction, domestication and spread of the harmful organism Spodoptera frugiperda (Smith) on the territory of Montenegro, as well as phytosanitary measures for its eradication, if its presence is determined in a certain area. Specified plants in terms of this Regulationa re as follows: fruits of the plants Capsium L., Momordica L., Solanum aethiopicum L., Solanum macrocarpon L. and Solanum melongena L.; plants Asparagus officinalis L., except stems that are covered with soil throughout their life cycle, live pollen, plant tissue cultures and seeds.
This text transposes the requirements lad down in Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/1134 on measures to prevent the introduction into, establishment and spread within the Union territory of Spodoptera frugiperda (Smith), amending Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/2072 and repealing Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/638
