Abstract
This Regulation sets the rules aimed to prevent the introduction and spread of harmful organisms transmitted by the following plant species/herbal origin from India: Colocasia Schott, other than seeds and roots; Momordica L., other than seeds; Solanum melongena L. except seeds; Trichosanthes L., other than seeds; in terms of international traffic ban.
This Regulation further determines that the plants of Mangifera L., other than seeds, originating in India may be introduced on the territory of the Republic of Montenegro if it is accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate.
This Regulation transposes the rules contained in the Commission Implementing Decision 2014/237/EU of 24 April 2014 on measures to prevent the introduction into and the spread within the Union of harmful organisms as regards certain fruits and vegetables originating in India, amended by the Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2015/237 of 12 February 2015; Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2015/2434 of 18 December 2015.
