Abstract
This Regulation defines the terms and rules as regards the classification of waste, set issues regarding the waste catalogue, the processing procedures and disposal of classified waste. The waste catalogue is a list of waste according to its properties and place of origin, classified into groups, subgroups and types of waste among related activities that produce such waste. The classification of waste is carried out on the basis of the waste catalogue given in the Annex 1 of this text. Hazardous waste in the waste catalogue is classified in particular manner (see article 3 and also related issues in Annexes 2, 3 and 4). Waste treatment includes the processes of treatment and disposal of waste. Waste processing is carried out according to the procedures given in Annex 5. Waste disposal is carried out according to the procedures given in Annex 6.
