Bago Region Salt and Salt Products Industry Law.

The aim of this Law is to find natural means to prevent natural salt resource deforestation, increase salt production and improve salt quality and domestic food security, carry out the export of salt and salt products, and disseminate the salt production technology and research methods.
Those who want to commercialize salt or salt products must apply for a license in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the Region Supervision Committee. Duties and responsibilities of the licensee, establishment of the Region Oversight Committee, inspection and penalties, etc. are further provided in the text.
