Abstract
This Notification, consisting of eleven chapters, establishes the environmental impact assessment (EIA) procedure. The following issues are covered: screening of the projects, initial environmental examination, environmental impact assessment, appeal process, environmental management plan, environmental consideration in project approval, monitoring of the projects, strategic environmental assessment and administrative punishment.
