Abstract
This Notification No. 15 /2017 of the Myanmar Investment Commission is isuued according to the Myanmar Investment Law.
The Notification promulgates the List of Restricted Investment Activities.
Investment activities allowed to be carried out only by the Union include: Management of natural forest and forest area except the business relating to reduction of carbon emission; Inspection of electrical business; etc. Investment activities that are not allowed to be carried out by foreign investors include: Fresh water fisheries and relevant services; Establishment of quarantine station for exportation and importation of animals; Manufacturing of forest products from forest area and government administered natural forest; etc.
