Development Plan for Mongolia in 2024.

Mongolia's priority policy direction in 2024 shall be to increase household income, exports, investments, improve food security, food supply and food safety. Processing and manufacturing of the basic foodstuffs with a view of meeting the needs of the population, increase of domestic production and reducing import dependence. Development Plan envisages raising environment-friendly indicators and reduction of air pollution.
The Plan envisaged promotion of export of cashmere, meat, leather, nuts, medicinal plants, food exempting export inputs from import tariffs. In particular, focusing on support of supply of safe and certified foodstuffs and agricultural commodities meeting high quality standards.
The prospect is continuous supply of staple food products to the population, improvement of supply, storage and transportation chain of raw foodstuffs, full implementation of food traceability system, raising profit of herders and farmers.
