Government Decision No. 332 “On the development of the area around Hyvsgul Lake as “Eco-tour and tourism zone.”

The Government, in order to protect the ecosystem of Khuvsgul Lake, which contains 70 percent of Mongolia's fresh water resources and is a natural beauty, and in order to further develop environmentally friendly and sustainable tourism, let the region of Khuvsgul Lake Natural Park be made an "Eco-tour and tourism zone". The regional administration shall not make any decision related to right of ownership of land and right of land tenure by natural and legal persons who do not submit water use report, who have not signed water use contract, who have not obtained certificate to the aforesaid operations and activities and who do not have water metering devices. Annex contains regional development plan of "Eco-tour and tourism zone" for 2019-2023.
