Joint Order No. А/364 and А/548 of the Minister of Nature, Environment and Tourism and of the Bulgan aimag governor validating the Regulation on improvement of quality of the atmospheric air.

The scope of this Regulation shall be to implement air quality improvement regime in the Bulgan region. It envisages application of the following arrangements: (a) issuance of governor’s authorization for any production or service facility emitting pollutants after positive conclusion of professional staff; (b) introduction of energy-saving electric and gas heater with to step-by-step application in compliance with quality standards; (c) reduction of heat losses by buildings by application of heat insulation, including prohibition of heating by coal and incinerators; (d) use of advanced equipment in order to reduce the impact of emissions; and (e) compliance with standards related to emission and discharge of pollutants.
