Order of the Minister of Environment and Tourism No. A/450 validating Regulation on conservation and use of forest resources.

This Regulation establishes the procedure for protection of forest resources, identification, restoration appropriate use thereof, and regulates the relationships that arise in connection with monitoring activities. It also envisages implementation of relevant standards and contracts for resource preparation and technological operations. The forest department is the relevant scientific organization, state protection administration of protected areas, including the representatives of non-governmental organizations, according to the approved methodology of resources assessment in the district forest reserve under their responsibility. Determined for each section and classification, yield information and conclusions shall be submitted to the Environment Department of the province and capital by August 30, according to the first Annex of this regulation. Governors of provinces and capital will study the proposals of the Forestry Department to prepare resources for domestic and industrial purposes. State administrative bodies responsible for forest issues shall submit proposals for harvests, conduct a monitoring study involving representatives of relevant academic, research and non-governmental organizations. Proposals and conclusions prepared for domestic and industrial purposes are issued for each province, capital and district for the current year. Further they will be submitted to the central state administrative organization in charge of environmental issues by September 30. The central state administrative organization in charge of environmental issues is the State Forestry Administration, which sets the amount of forest resources for domestic and industrial purposes based on the suggestions and conclusions submitted by the organization in charge with the maximum amount to be set for each province, capital and district by October 5 of the current year.
