Order No. A-346 of the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry validating the Procedure for examination of pedigree livestock.

The scope of the Procedures is to select certified high-yielding cattle, by assessing quality, genetic properties and health thereof, for the benefits of the public and animal breeders, to sell inseminators that meet standard requirements, to enterprises and citizens, and to appreciate and reward the work of herders and animal breeders. It regulates the issues related to breeds, strains and highly productive farm animals either imported to Mongolia or bred on the national territory. The selection of productive animals for wool and cashmere is held in spring, and for other productive animals and for other productive animals will be held in the fall.
