Order No. A/105 of the Minister of Industry and Agriculture validating Fertilizer safety requirements.

Requirements for the safety of fertilizers used in agricultural production include mineral, organic, bacterial, and biocompost fertilizers that are widely used during the growth of cultivated plants, as well as substances that stimulate plant growth and substances that accelerate plant growth and establish quality and safety requirements during their manufacturing, packaging, labelling, use, storage, transportation, sale, and import. The Minister of Industry and Agriculture jointly with the Minister of Health shall validate classification of fertilizers. The following conditions must be met for the manufacturing of fertilizers: (a) hygienic norms of substances used for the manufacturing of fertilizers must not exceed the established limits; (b) fertilizers must not cause harm to the living conditions of soil organisms; (c) must not create serious disease-causing bacteria, microorganisms and other biological hazards; and (d) fertilizers shall be manufactured in accordance with the standards and relevant technological instructions.
