Order No. A/111 of the Minister of Health validating the Strategic Plan for 2024-2027 to combat and prevent gender-based and domestic violence.

Gender-based and family-based violence is a social problem with multiple causes is widespread in countries around the world, persists for a long time, and causes great harm to the lives, health, and safety of victims. The Strategic Plan for 2024-2027 shall ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability of gender equality and gender-based and family-based rights with a view of combating preventing violence and ensuring social protection for the victims.
The Strategic Plan for 2024-2027 shall be based on the following principles: (a) respect for the victim's identity and non-discrimination; (b) priority to protecting human rights, children's rights, and legitimate interests, immediately ensuring the safety of victims, protecting their lives, privacy, and health, and ensuring coordination of assistance services; (c) building a system that is capable of preventing and responding to gender - based and domestic violence; (d) establishing an evidence-based system, providing integrated information and statistics for risk management decision-making, and improving risk assessment; and (e) improving reporting and response capacity to the cases of gender-based and family-based violence.
