Abstract
This Procedure shall be followed by veterinary medical institutions in their operations and shall govern the writing and dispensing of prescriptions for veterinary drugs. A veterinarian or pharmacist is a professional who is proficient in the preparation, packaging, testing, and dispensing of medicines in accordance with pharmaceutical science and pharmaceutical technology. Annexes contain prescription forms. A veterinarian shall write a prescription based on the diagnosis of the animal. The name of a compound drug should be written in the prescription by its trade name. The diagnosis should be written in full and the prescription should not be altered or edited. It is prohibited to dispense drugs on the prescription list without a prescription. If a person or legal entity violates this Regulation, the state inspector of veterinary supervision shall hold the person or legal entity liable under the Criminal Code without being held liable under the Law on Violations.
