Abstract
This Act lays down amendments to various laws in matter of climate action,environmental protection and development planning. Part I lays down amendments to the Climate Action Act. The amendments concern, among others, the definition of the Standing Committee on the Environment, Climate Change and Development Planning, and the National low-carbon development strategy. The Minister shall ensure that the national lowcarbon development strategy is reviewed and updated periodically, and at least every five years.
Part II amends the Environment Protection Act of 2016, whereas Part II amends the Development Planning Act. The Acts are updated in order to include references to the Standing Committee on the Environment, Climate Change and Development Planning.
