Abstract
By way of implementation of Directive 86/609/EEC, these Regulations shall apply to any animals which are used or intended for use in any such experimentation or scientific procedure where that procedure may cause pain, suffering, distress or lasting harm. The Schedule attached lays down guidelines for accommodation and care of animals.
