Abstract
Pursuant to the provisions laid down in Directive 64/432/EEC, the present Rules apply to animal health problems relating to intra-Community trade in bovines and swines. Six Schedules are attached. Bovine animals and swine covered by these Rules must show no clinical sign of disease on the day of loading; must have been obtained from a holding which is situated in the centre of an epizootic free area, for at least three months prior to consignment; and must have been free from foot-and-mouth disease and bovine brucellosis swine fever and contagious porcine paralysis (Teschen disease) in the case of swine.
