Abstract
These regulations, which shall be read and construed as one with the Animal Slaughter or Killing (Protection) Regulations (the principal regulations), amend the principal regulations.
In particular, regulations 4 to 15, both inclusive, of the principal regulations are deleted and so are all Schedules to the principal regulations.
In addition, the wording of Sub-regulation (4) of regulation 1 of the principal regulations, concerning the scope of the regulations is substituted.
Also Regulation 2 of the principal regulations, concerning the interpretation of the text, is substituted by a new regulation.
Finally, immediately after sub-regulation (2) of regulation 16 of the principal regulations there is added a new sub-regulation concerning the action to be taken in case of breach of the regulations.
