Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration on a Derogation for a 2022 Spring Hunting Season for Turtle Dove and Quail) Regulations, 2022 (L.N. 116 of 2022).

These Regulations, to be read in conjunction with the Conservation of Wild Birds Regulations, establish that the period for the hunting of Quail in Spring 2022, shall be from the 10th April to the 30th April, 2022. The period for the hunting of Turtle Dove in Spring 2022, shall be from the 17th April to the 30th April, 2022.
The Regulations further provide that its provisions shall cease to have effect and no hunting activity shall be permitted in the event that the Minister so orders. The Regulations also provide that the Spring Hunting Licence set an overall bag limit for the Spring hunting season, as specified by Regulation 5.
