Abstract
These provisions are adopted pursuant to Regulation (EU) No. 1143/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the prevention and management of the introduction and spread of invasive alien species. The Environment and Resources Authority is allowed to take all necessary measures for the eradication, control, prevention and monitoring of species included in the European Union list. Regulation 8 concerns offences and related penalties.
