Abstract
These regulations amend the Emergency Euthanasia of Animals Regulations (the principal regulations).
In particular, in sub-regulation (2) of Regulation 2 the definition of Director is added and the definition of emergency euthanasia is substituted with a new one.
Immediately after sub-regulation (2) a new sub-regulation is added providing that terms and expressions used in these regulations which are not defined herein, shall unless the context otherwise requires, have the same meaning assigned to them in the Animal Welfare Act.
Finally Regulation 6 of the principal regulations, concerning Punishments and administrative penalties, is substituted by a reworded regulation.
