Environmental Management Construction Site Regulations, 2007 (L.N. 295 of 2007).

These provisions set out the regulatory framework on construction management practices. The Regulations, among other purposes, aim at reducing as much as possible harm caused to the environment by construction. The latter includes works, activities, events and practices in connection with the building, alteration, renovation, finishing, demolition, excavation or removal within any site or building, as specified in Schedule VI. Detailed rules on reducing pollution are laid down in Schedule III, which refers to noise pollution and emission control measures. Further technical guidelines and provisions on site preparation are set out in Schedule IV. Penalties are laid down under Part IV of the Regulations.
