Abstract
These Regulations apply to food supplements which are marketed as foodstuffs and presented as such. Food supplements may be placed on the market as long as they comply with the requirements hereby established. They shall be delivered to the ultimate consumer only in a prepackaged form. The following Schedules are attached: (I) Vitamins and minerals which may be used in the manufacture of food supplements; (II) Vitamins and mineral substances which may be used in the manufacture of food supplements; (III) Maximum permitted levels and guidance levels for vitamins and minerals; (IV) Illustrative list of categories of substances other than nutrients which may be present in food supplements; (V) Guidance body weights per age bracket.
