Abstract
There are hereby laid down certain amendments to the Fruit Trees Propagation Material of 2010. The new definition of "regulated non-quarantine pests" is added in Regulation 3. The following items of Section II of Schedule IV are amended: item 9, concerning health requirements for pre-basic mother plants and for pre-basic material is amended; item 10 on soil requirements for pre-basic mother plants and pre-basic material; item 15 on health requirements for basic mother plants and basic material; Soil requirements for basic mother plants and basic material; item 20 of Part III on health requirements for certified mother plants and certified material; item 21 of Part III on soil requirements for certified mother plants and certified material; item 25 of Part IV on health requirements for CAC material and a new item, immediately after item 26 of Part IV, shall be added on the requirements with regard to the production site, place of production or area. Schedule A to the principal regulations is substituted by a new one. Schedule D to the principal regulations, shall be substituted by a new schedule on the requirements concerning measures per genera or species and category of propagating material, compliant with the requirements concerning Union quarantine pests and protected zone quarantine pests provided for in implementing acts adopted pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/2031, as well as the measures adopted pursuant to Article 30(1) of that Regulation.
