Abstract
These Regulations provide for the implementation in part of Directive 2010/75/EU on Industrial Emissions (Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control). In particular they lay down rules for the prevention and control of pollution arising from the use of organic solvents in certain activities and installations. The purpose and scope of these provisions is to prevent or reduce the direct and indirect effects of emissions of volatile organic compounds into the environment, mainly into the air, and the potential risks to human health.
