Abstract
These Regulations establish the requirements to be met by processed cereal-based foods and other foodstuffs intended for use: by infants while they are being weaned; by young children as a supplement to their diet; by young children for their progressive adaptation to ordinary food. Those products may be placed on the market as long as they comply with the conditions set out in these Regulations. Such conditions concern in particular compositional criteria, nutritional additives, maximum pesticide residues limits and labelling.
